Description of Different Kinds of Bank Commercial Bank: The best Know bank is commercial bank developed as commercial bank. Banking institution doing business for profit is known as commercial bank. Commercial bank is the popular form of bank and inevitable in our everyday life. Sonali bank, Janata bank and Agrani bank are the Nationalized. Control bank: Bank to control all other banks and money market is known as central bank. Control bank is the guardian of the money and also the bank of the government. Development Bank: Bank created for the development of different sector of the economy is known as development bank. Industrial development bank, agricultural development bank. Etc. is seen in different country. Bangladesh Krishi-agricultural Bank Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Development Bank and Bangladesh Small Industries and Commerce Bank. Ltd. are five development banks in bangladesh, & are Known as development Financial Institutions.

Specialized Bank: Bank created to supervise finance and develop specialized bank. Bangladesh Khrishi Bank is a specialized bank to finance agriculture in the country.

Export Bank: There are banks especially created to finance export or import or export .In the U.S,A., there is Export Import Bank (EXIM Bank) to finance Foreign trade.

Interest Free Bank or Islamic Bank: Bank run according to Islamic Shariah is known as Islamic bank. Islamic bank Bangladesh Ltd and Al Arafah Islamic Bank Ltd. are two of the banks run according to Islamic Shariah in Bangladesh.

Regional Bank: Bank created to finance and developed specific is known as regional bank. Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan bank is a regional bank in Bangladesh to care are repaid developed of the country.

Indigence: All local banks are known as indigence bank. City bank, Sonali Bank. National Bank in the country.

Foreign Banks: Bank of different country is known as foreign bank. These are multinational banks or branches of foreign bank, Stantere Chartered bank American Express Bank, Citi bank. Citi Grindley Bank.etc is foreign banks in Bangladesh.

Off Shore Bank: Bank especially to finance and promote export is known as off shore bank. These are especially banking activities in liberal formalities at some islands.

Grameen Bank: The word Grameen is bangle word for village and hence, Grameen Bank with specialization in rural banking. Grameen bank is a new concept bank in the banking sector in Bangladesh especially created to finance the groups not allowed traditional banking facilities and operate in the rural areas. This bank is especially a model of micro-credit or micro-finance.
